This bass riff is inspired by Ahmad Jamal's version of "Wave" by Antônio Carlos Jobim from The Awakening.

The chords are from the Real Book version of the intro to "Wave", I like those chords but in truth any d minor G7 chords would work.

I still quite dislike my recordings of the lines, I'm really struggling to give them the spirit that I want but to keep "nice" tone and good intonation...seems like the more accurate I make them, the less lively they get and the more lively, the more out of tune and scratchy. But nonetheless here are my latest efforts.

I'm thinking something like playing the first line 8 times then the second line 8 times. I originally thought the two could be played together but it is not seeming like they really can work that way.

This tune needs a form, a melody, drums, and potentially a B section.
