I have one of those childhood memories that I can't place it time or place.  Some neighbor moved out and they had a rock garden and the new residents immediately took it out.  In this memory I had never gone to see this rock garden, and felt such loss.

Later in life I visited the Zen gardens in San Francisco and Portland.  How marvelous!  Order and peace filled me.

Came the day I decided to build my own.  It is nearly 10 years later now and I'm nearly done.

My rock garden is not orderly and peaceful.  It's kind of busy.  Lots of lines in many directions.  I'd call it fanciful.  Most days lately I like the way it turned out.

I did nearly the whole garden solo, with some early design help from Zuriel and Sacha.

But near the end I collaborated.  First with the bridge
