Why Pretty Much the Whole Time They Were Growing Up Certain Folks Sometimes Felt Kind of Freaked Out Around Deanneanddeandeandeanne

It wasn't just that a lot of the time one side of their face looked like Dean and the other side looked like Deanne. And it wasn't just that sometimes the Dean half was on the left side and the Deanne half was on the right but other times Deanne was on the left and Dean was on the right. Plus the fact that sometimes both sides looked like Deanne. if it was only that, probably certain people wouldn't have freaked out so often.

And by the time they were 5 everyone pretty much got used to the fact that they had to be aware of which side was facing them at the moment and use the right name, and that the Dean side was pretty much a fully different person from the Deanne side. And that a person could be talking to Dean on the left and look away for a second and look back and suddenly discover they were talking to Deanne. People are adaptable, most folks learned to keep eye contact when they were talking to Deanneanddeandeandeanne so they wouldn't have to switch mid conversation.

Despite all that, probably most people would have never freaked out, especially given that Deanneanddeandeandeanne was so super fun to hang out with. Especially after Deaneanddeandeandeanne Invented the Game Called Friends of the Seven Enemy Wands, they were a lot of people's favorite person in the village.

When it came down to it the reason most of those certain people freaked out some of the times was the rumors. No one really remembers who said it first but the story was that one night someone was walking by Deanneanddeandeandeanne's house and they saw thru the window that there were two of them.

That plus a lot of the time a person might spend Thursday afternoon making mud pies with them and then later when they were telling their friend about it their friend would say, "but I spent Thursday afternoon finger-painting with Deanneanddeandeandeanne". And when a person would compare notes with their friend they would find out that the mud pies had been made with Dean on the left and Deanne on the right but the finger-painting was with Deanne on the left and Dean on the right.

Plus there was their pet Corvis.

And they always seemed to sometimes know more than they rightfully should have about everybody. For sure everyone would agree that Deanneanddeandeandeanne was sneaky. A person might be having a nice walk with their friend in the woods and look over to the left and suddenly Deanneanddeandeandeanne would be walking right next to them, which was startling.

Double that for Corvis, who was seeming like they would suddenly appear out of nowhere on a frequent basis.

Eventually it got so bad that Deanneanddeandeandeanne Left the Village and Lived Kind of Alone in the Woods
